Awards

Hazel has received two honourable mentions for the International Photography Awards competition; one for her Jihad Blogger portrait with the New York Times and the other for an image of Maryam from her ‘Measure of a Woman’ series for the British Council.

Exhibitions

Hazel's two year project "Measure of a Woman" is currently touring the Gulf as part of an international exhibition project entitled My Father's House, commissioned by The British Council. The tour will be coming to London in 2010.

Multimedia

As part of another collaborative project with the British Council, and partnered with Vietnamese writer Nguyn Quc Thành, Hazel's work has been commissioned for In the City; a group exhibition and multimedia e-book that explores the physical space and community in Hanoi.
